Accreditation and Quasi-Governmental Organizations

A quasi-governmental organization, for the purposes of accreditation, is one that a) has a primary mission of land conservation, b) has a governance structure that provides independent oversight with a board independent of government, and c) is a unit of government, rather than a private, non-profit corporation.
